Ernie and Dex got baths this Friday. I know...it's about as much fun as it sounds. First we had fun time, aka Naked Dust Wrestlemania 2008:

But I had to chase Dex around the backyard with a cookie before he would submit to a cold-water hose-down:

Dogs are so funny. They often know exactly what you're going to do - and often heartily disapprove!
It would take much more than a cookie to make me submit to a cold-water hose down. It would take at least two cookies and a pint of beer. Considering the lightweight I've become, one pint of beer and I'd fall right into the tub.

nilsa - Yeah, Dexter was not having it. When I finally gave up on giving him a bath, he came right to me.
dingo - Maybe I'll try that next time, and change my bribe from cookies to beer. I know I'd go for it. Throw in some chili cheese fries and I'd be sold.
maxie - Me too. They are such good dogs. My boys are such sweethearts, aside from the underwear eating and face raping.
HA! No worries, I gave him a bath yesterday so he should be in good shape when you get him back!
danielle - Better you than me! He was not down for a bath.
